New Friends/Amigos Nuevos

We're so excited about this month's new programs, featuring the irresistible music and diverse cultures of Spain, Mexico, and Latin America—we hope you have as much fun listening to them as Classics for Kids host Naomi Lewin did putting them together!

Jair MontielJair Montiel, who narrated the Spanish-language version, is the program coordinator at MYCincinnati, a community youth orchestra program in Price Hill. Originally from Colombia, Jair is a musician, songwriter and music producer, and the father of two children, Sofia and Caleb. His personal musical project is called Viraje, a fusion of typical Colombian and Latin rhythms with other international rhythms such as Rock and Pop.

Glo RamirezThis month's activity sheets were created by Glo Ramirez, a visual artist, scenic painter, illustrator, and small business owner born and raised in Puerto Rico, currently living in Juneau, Alaska.
