Overview:

Over the 3 lessons, the Concept Areas of Rhythm, Melody, Form, and Tone Color are used. Skills developed over the 3 lessons are Singing, Moving, Listening, Playing Instruments, Creating (Composing and Improvising), Notating/Reading, Evaluating, and Relating music to other subject areas.

Lessons Include:

  1. Let’s Do a Circle Dance!
  2. Let’s Use a Listening Map!
  3. Let’s Play Mallet Instruments!


GRADES 3-5
