Lesson plans were written by Dr. Kay Edwards, Professor and Coordinator of Music Education at Miami University in Oxford, OH, an active clinician and author in the areas of elementary general music pedagogy, guided listening, and multicultural music education for more than 30 years. Dr. Edwards holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in General Music from Arizona State University. She has special training in Kodály and Dalcroze pedagogies in addition to Orff Level III certification.
