As a composer for film, television and the concert stage, John Williams has written some of the most recognizable and well-known music across the globe including the film scores for Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies, ET, Superman: The Movie, The BFG, and Jurassic Park.

Williams has also composed symphonies and concertos for a variety of instruments including flute, violin, tuba and harp, as well as themes for the Olympics and NBC’s presentation of NFL Football.

He was the 19th music director of the Boston Pops Orchestra and is now its Laureate Conductor. Included in his long list of awards is the National Medal of Arts, the highest artistic award given by the government of the United States.
