ABA Form
This is a form in which the beginning and the ending are the same. The middle section is different in rhythm and /or melody. The sections are usually in the same time signature. One very basic example using a simple melody would be as follows. You could use this in an Orff example.
You can also create an ABA Form in your classroom by using two different groups of students playing the same rhythm or melody in the ABA form.
