Teachers

This site is designed to help you use classical music as part of your daily classroom activities.

Classical music not only has the power to stimulate the mind, enrich the heart and soothe the soul; it can also help you meet the educational objectives of your students.

Here's what you'll find at classicsforkids.com:

Lesson Plans
Our lesson plans are practical, effective activities for grades K-6 to help you teach the basics of music to your students. They feature music by many classical music composers for grades K-2 and 3-5 (some plans include grade 6 as well). Each set focuses on a selected piece of music from the composer. This framework provides a springboard for exploring a wide variety of musical and general classroom concepts.
